Why would I need to look up the Bursar website when the information is on SIS?
|
The Bursar website bill includes information that the SIS web does not show.
On SIS, the information is summarized into one total, such as tuition or fees. On the Bursar website, this information is not summarized, each fee is individually listed out. The SIS web only shows information for one term. The Bursar website currently
has historical billing information dating back to September 2001.
1098T information can also be viewed on the Bursar website, but not on the
SIS website. |

|
There are two methods for receiving a refund:

The Direct Deposit Program provides quicker delivery of your refund when your bursar account has been overpaid. If you participate in direct deposit, your refunds will transfer to your checking account within 48 hours after the credit becomes effective on your bursar account. The Direct Deposit Program is a service that is totally electronic, eliminating all manual processing steps. To sign up for Direct Deposit go to 113 Student Union and complete the Direct Deposit form or go online at http://bursar.okstate.edu/forms.html. You will need to attach a voided check to the form.
If you do not choose to participate in the Direct Deposit Program, your refund will be issued by check. Refund checks are mailed on a bi-weekly schedule to students’ local addresses. The Bursar Office cannot cash these University-generated refund checks nor can they cash personal checks.
